Daniel’s pensions career started in 2000 undertaking in-house DB pensions administration for a variety of local government bodies, before moving onto DC consultancy in 2006, prior to joining IGG.

He holds an award in Local Government Pension Scheme Administration, is part-PMI qualified and has completed the Award in Pensions Trusteeship (APT).

Daniel is fully accredited as a professional trustee by the APPT.

Successfully transferred several schemes to the PPF following an assessment period. Worked on a number of scheme wind-ups, including liaison with various parties and undertaking all necessary wind-up actions. Liaising with FCF around compensation due to members of fraudulent schemes and communicating with affected members. Dealing with benefits payable from a death in service scheme, including making recommendations, liaison with the employer/beneficiaries as appropriate and arranging payment.
