During her tenure at a prominent FTSE 100 firm, she orchestrated strategy and operations for DB and DC plans with assets surpassing £10 billion. Nicole’s expertise spans both corporate and trustee perspectives, making her a balanced and commercially astute professional.

Her track record features successful leadership of major change initiatives such as buy-ins, scheme closures, and complex de-mergers, coupled with managing governance and operational teams on a global scale. Nicole’s collaborative and inclusive approach fosters strong relationships with trustees and sponsors, enabling her to set clear strategic goals and ensure top-notch governance and risk management.

  • Managing complex projects on behalf of sponsors and trustee boards: recent projects include risk reviews, scheme design and contribution benchmarking review, buy-in, scheme closure and adviser selection.
  • Establishing and chairing a DC Governance Committee following the transfer of a scheme from DC Trust to DC Master Trust.
  • Leading and delivering scheme secretarial and governance services to both defined benefit and defined contribution schemes, ranging in asset size from £50m to 8bn.
  • Being the delegated decision maker on discretionary death cases on behalf of the trustees.
  • Managing trustee advisory teams to deliver cost effective and high-quality advice.
