Opportunities

We’re always looking for great talent to join the team across all disciplines and at all levels: from Assistant Associate through to Associate, Trustee Manager and Trustee Director.

 

Assistant Associates are responsible for providing high quality, general administrative support to colleagues and clients, as required. They work on schemes across Trusteeship and Governance support services and will have one year plus of experience dealing with defined benefit occupational pension schemes.

Our Associates focus on maintaining good governance of occupational pension schemes. Such schemes may be ongoing, in the process of being wound up or in an Assessment Period for the Pension Protection Fund. They may also act as scheme secretary where so appointed, with support from a Trustee Manager or Director for any strategic decision. They will have experience in dealing with defined benefit occupational pension schemes and possess knowledge of current legislative issues and an understanding of the Pensions Act 2004 and its application to defined benefit schemes.

Senior Associates provide a full range of governance and project management services for IGG clients. This may be through an IGG client appointment where IGG is Co-Trustee, Chair, the Professional Corporate Sole Trustee or where IGG has been engaged to provide stand-alone Trustee Governance Services.
They may act as scheme secretary where so appointed, with support from a Trustee Manager or Director for any strategic decision, and also have some exposure to schemes in PPF assessment.

Our Trustee Managers provide support to Trustee Directors by leading a full range of governance and project management services for clients within their delegated authorities. This may be where the company is Chair, Co-Trustee, the Professional Corporate Sole Trustee or where we have been engaged to provide stand-alone Trustee Governance Services.
They will be highly experienced at working with defined benefit occupational pension schemes and a good understanding of the requirements of Defined Contribution pension schemes and a strong understanding of pensions legislation and industry practice with a focus on regulatory and governance aspects of defined benefit occupational pension schemes.

Associate Directors focus on successfully delivering trusteeship and/or governance services to clients within the company’s framework in the areas of Professional Corporate Sole Trusteeship (PCST) and Governance Services. They may also manage schemes through the PPF assessment period.
They will be highly experienced at working with defined benefit occupational pension schemes and have a strong understanding of the requirements of Defined Contribution pension schemes. They will possess a current understanding of pensions legislation and industry practice with a focus on regulatory and governance aspects of defined benefit occupational pension schemes.

Our Trustee Directors are responsible for developing and managing a portfolio of professional trusteeship or governance appointments whilst operating within the company’s professional risk management framework. [They are accredited by the APPT as professional trustees] and possess broad knowledge of all aspects of UK pensions and an excellent understanding of the challenges facing trustees and employers. They can provide leading edge, creative and professional input into pensions schemes.
