Collette Taylor

Collette has over 20 years’ experience in the pensions industry with a background in Pensions Management, Trustee Secretarial, Administration and Governance. She has worked within major Third-Party Administrators and Consultancy practices.

Collette has experience working with Defined Benefit (DB) Trustee Boards and Sole Trustees on all aspects of day to day pension scheme management as well as a range of complex matters such as ETV exercises, Trust Company management, GMP reconciliation & equalisation, Flexible Apportionment Agreements, Buy Out exercises, adviser reviews and tender exercises.

Collette has a strong focus on good governance and uses this as a method to reduce the operational risk of Trustee Boards. She combines this with an excellent technical understanding of administration, member matters and communications. Due to her close relationship working with the Chairs of Trustee boards, she brings a unique view from both sides of the table (Adviser and Trustee) and also considers what questions the Trustees will ask when presenting or proposing agenda items. Her strengths include project management, risk review, governance and compliance, relationship management, attention to detail and problem solving.

Collette is fully accredited as a professional trustee by the Association of Professional Pension Trustees and is an accredited trustee and Diploma member with the Pensions Management Institute.
