Phil Hinson

Phil is the Corporate Development Director and is responsible for developing and executing M&A opportunities and supporting the implementation of strategic growth initiatives across the business. Phil also supports the finance team on operational finance matters.

Phil joined Independent Governance Group from private equity house LDC where he led their investment in 2020 and subsequent merger with ITS in 2023. Phil started his career at PwC where he qualified as a chartered accountant before moving into their corporate finance team. He brings significant experience as a private equity principal, corporate finance lead advisor and head of corporate development in industry.
