Vanessa is an experienced pension professional, with nearly 30 years of industry experience, including roles ranging from company secretary, pension management to administration.

Her experience includes both Defined Benefit and Defined Contribution, with some 25 years working on various schemes in the banking sector, including some based offshore (Jersey and the Isle of Man).

Vanessa has a strong focus on good governance, ensuring things are done in the right and proportionate way to reduce the operational risk of Trustee Boards.  She has considerable expertise in establishing and creating policies, practices and protocols to provide efficient and effective solutions for all scenarios.    Her strengths include project management, risk review, compliance, relationship management, attention to detail and problem solving

Vanessa is is fully accredited as a professional trustee by the APPT and more recently spent her time supporting schemes and sponsors as an Independent Trustee.
